The banners of the opposition party flapped in the wind. The sight of the regalia turned my stomach.
It reminded me of vociferous rhetoric and violence. I didn’t see people. I saw propaganda, lies, and division.
I muttered rude comments to myself and my kids. I thought of how damn sick and tired I was of the polarization in our country.
